Our Projects

GS Animal Protection Trust

GS Animal Protection Trust funds a variety of charitable initiatives that rescue, support and care for animals in distress. Through shelters, veterinary care and rehabilitation programs, we help abandoned, abused and neglected animals find safety and a better future.

Chatdicap

Chatdicap is a non-profit association in Switzerland that cares for cats that are difficult to rehome due to a disability, chronic illness, behavioral problems or their advanced age. Therefore, they only accept “last chance” cases which, without care, would be euthanized.

Association Une Main Une Patte

AUXAN

AUXAN’s primary objective is to help and support animal rescue centres and associations in difficulty, both in Switzerland and other countries, so that they can continue to take in, care for and feed animals (cats, dogs, horses, etc.) that are either homeless or abandoned, ill-treated or at risk.

Association Papaye International

Association Papaye International is a non-profit organization that aims to protect and save chimpanzees from being trafficked, kept as domestic pets or sold for medicinal purposes. They hope to conserve and protect chimpanzee populations for the survival of the species.

Association La Ferme des Rescapés

This non-profit runs an animal sanctuary that has taken in hundreds of animals from feral or difficult cats, to retired farm animals, or even elderly, injured, or sick horses. Since many of these animals have nowhere to go, they often live out their lives on the sanctuary grounds.

Handichats

Handichats helps all cats that are disabled, injured, and/or sick. These animals come from the street, from the pound, and from individuals who have abandoned them. If the animal needs care, it will only be put up for adoption after it has fully recovered.

100 Chevaux sur l'herbe

100 Chevaux sur l'herbe rescues and provides lifelong care for horses and donkeys who were destined for slaughter, meeting their physical and emotional needs in their large sanctuary and extensive grounds, where everything is designed for their well-being. They now have around 195 horses and donkeys in their care.

ERMINEA

ERMINEA is a non-profit who has been taking care of wild animals who are injured or sick in Switzerland since 2007. Although they started by taking in ferrets, over the years they have started taking care of all types of local wild animals including squirrels, birds and lynx.

Coeurs Vagabonds

Coeurs vagabonds is a non-profit that takes in street cats and dogs in Romania to offer them medical services, food and shelter. Once the animals have recovered, they repatriate them to France in the hopes of finding forever homes for them.

Animal Sanctuary Gros Cailloux

The Animal Sanctuary Gros Cailloux in Mauritius takes in all injured and sick wild animals and helps to rehabilitate and rehome them. Although they initially focused on street dogs and cats, they now also help rabbits, monkeys, bats, and wild birds.

Fondation Brigitte Bardot

Fondation Brigitte Bardot is a non-profit that runs multiple animal sanctuaries in France and around the world, taking care of more than 11'200 animals at the moment. Aside from this they also work to stop medical testing on animals, to stop hunting associations, wildlife shows such as dolphinariums and bull runs.
